About Pranessa

I am a Financial Adviser based in Invercargill with a passion for helping people make confident financial decisions and build a secure future. Originally from South Africa, I moved to New Zealand in 2026, bringing with me nearly two decades of experience in the financial services industry, having worked in the profession since 2007. Throughout my career, I have learned that great advice is about more than numbers. It is about understanding what matters most to people and helping them make informed decisions that support their goals, values, and aspirations. I enjoy building long-term relationships with clients and providing clear, practical advice that helps them feel confident and supported through every stage of life.

I am passionate about helping people achieve financial clarity, confidence, and peace of mind. Having worked in financial services since 2007 and experienced a major life transition by moving from South Africa to New Zealand, I understand the importance of planning ahead and having trusted guidance during life's significant changes. I enjoy simplifying complex financial concepts and creating personalised strategies that help clients achieve their goals. Whether someone is protecting their family, planning for retirement, growing their wealth, or navigating a new chapter in life, I find it incredibly rewarding to help them make confident decisions about their future. Building meaningful relationships and seeing clients achieve outcomes that matter to them is what motivates me every day. I am committed to providing advice that is practical, understandable, and focused on helping people create the life they want for themselves and their families.

My Three Golden Rules

  1. Build trust through honesty - Open communication and transparency are key to strong, lasting relationships.
  2. Listen before advising - Understanding a client's goals, concerns, and aspirations is the foundation of good advice.
  3. Never stop learning - Financial markets, regulations, and life circumstances change, so continuous learning is essential.

Neither Lifetime nor I have been subject to a reliability event. A reliability event is something that might influence you in deciding whether to seek advice from either myself or Lifetime. As an example, this would be a serious event such as legal proceedings against me, or bankruptcy in the last four years.
