About Hope
I am a chartered accountant who started my career in a global accounting firm. I then started an accounting business and have a practical understanding of the challenges small business owners face. I am passionate about making accounting easy to understand and exciting. I work relentlessly to make sure my clients are getting the best possible service and proactively ensure things are set up as best they can be. I work closely with my clients as their business adviser; to ensure they have a sounding board to make decisions and a clear strategy to follow.
Alongside being a chartered accountant I am a business mentor with Business Mentors NZ and also a member of the institute of directors. I sit on advisory boards for my clients as well as an external board.
Outside of work I am always planning something and utilising my excel skills to organise a travel adventure of some kind. I keep busy with my two little dogs, a Toy Poodle x Pomeranian and a Griffon x Maltese. You will find me competing in the next crossfit event I can find as I am always striving to challenge myself.
My Three Golden Rules
- Write your goals down.
- Surround yourself with the right people to support you on your journey.
- Always set aside your tax money!
Neither Lifetime nor I have been subject to a reliability event. A reliability event is something that might influence you in deciding whether to seek advice from either myself or Lifetime. As an example, this would be a serious event such as legal proceedings against me, or bankruptcy in the last four years.
