Hayley's Big Adventure - From Penguins to the Sky Tower
Six-year-old Hayley has a bright smile and a love for animals. Born with a condition called arthrogryposis, which affects the movement in her joints, Hayley faces some physical challenges but that doesn't stop her from dreaming big and adventuring with heart.
Thanks to the support of the incredible Dream Days community, Hayley and her family were treated to a magical Dream Day packed with fun and discovery. First stop: SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's Aquarium, where she met her favourite flippered friends, spotted turtles gliding by, and marvelled at the wonders beneath the waves.
Next up, an ice cream pit stop before heading into the heart of Auckland for a sky-high adventure at the iconic Sky Tower. Hayley zoomed up 220 metres to soak in the views before enjoying a delicious dinner at Orbit, the revolving restaurant high above the city lights. A special thanks to the generous team at SkyCity for making it possible.
This day was all about smiles, exploration, and creating special memories with family. Thank you to everyone who helped bring Hayley’s Dream Day to life.
